Sheridan College Rodeo Teams Shine at 2026 Eastern WY Event

The Sheridan College Rodeo Teams brought their grit and skill to the Eastern Wyoming College Rodeo in Torrington, Wyoming, held March 27-29. The Men’s Team landed in second place, while the Women’s Team grabbed third overall.

Outstanding Performances by Sheridan College Men’s Rodeo Team

The Sheridan College Men’s Rodeo Team put on a show, finishing second at the rodeo. They’re now holding onto second place in the Central Rocky Mountain Region standings, just behind the University of Wyoming.

Bareback Riding

Reece Reder tied for third in the first round of Bareback Riding, scoring 75 points. He got bucked off in the second round, but still managed to take tenth in the average.

Tie-Down Roping

Ryen Sheppick really delivered in Breakaway Roping. She tied for first in the long go with a 1.9-second run, matching University of Wyoming’s Olivia Lay.

Brooke Billingsley also had a good showing, tying for fifth in the long go at 2.4 seconds. She finished seventh in the short go with a 20.7-second run and eighth in the average.
