Saint Francis Volleyball Stars Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

Four standout players from the Saint Francis women’s volleyball team just landed spots on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. Alexa Chapla, Kori McClure, Korrin Burns, and Alexandra Sappia have all shown serious dedication, both on the court and in class.

This honor goes to student-athletes who keep their grades up and make a real impact on their teams. It’s not easy, balancing practices, games, and homework, but these four have pulled it off.

Saint Francis Volleyball Stars Shine Bright

Recognizing these four players really says a lot about the strength of the Saint Francis women’s volleyball program. Each athlete has worked hard at their sport and their studies, setting a pretty high bar for everyone else.

Eligibility Criteria for CSC Academic All-District Selection

To make the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes need to check off a few tough boxes:

  • They must be at least sophomores, both academically and athletically.
  • They need a GPA higher than 3.50.
  • They have to play in 90% of matches or start at least 66% of the time.

It’s a pretty competitive process, so only the most dedicated student-athletes end up on the list.
