NC State Women’s Tennis 2026 Spring Schedule Announced
The NC State women’s tennis team is gearing up for a big 2026 spring season, according to head coach Simon Earnshaw. The schedule looks packed, with 13 home dual matches and showdowns against two of last year’s NCAA Final Four teams: North Carolina and Michigan.
Plenty of home games mean fans will have lots of chances to cheer on the Wolfpack. The season starts January 17 with a doubleheader, and the action keeps rolling through home and away games until the NCAA National Championship in May.
Exciting Home Matches
Table of Contents
This spring is shaping up to be a treat for local fans. NC State will play 13 home dual matches at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center, so there’s no shortage of chances to catch the Pack up close.
The team opens with six straight home duals, kicking off January 17 against ETSU and Campbell. On January 18, they’ll take on NC Central and UNC Greensboro.
Season-Opening Homestand
The homestand keeps rolling into the next weekend. January 25-26 brings the ITA Kickoff Weekend to Raleigh.
NC State will battle Boise State on Sunday, then face either Florida or Ole Miss on Monday. It’s a solid stretch to see the team early and catch some high-level tennis before the season heats up.
Key Matchups and Tournaments
Several marquee matchups and big tournaments dot the schedule. One highlight: a neutral-site nonconference clash with North Carolina on January 30 at Cary Tennis Park.
This game matters—a lot—since North Carolina made the 2025 NCAA Final Four.
ITA National Indoors
February brings the ITA National Indoors from February 6-9. The tournament will be in either Evanston or Champaign, Illinois.
This event gives the Pack a shot to test themselves against some of the nation’s best.
Challenging Road Games
February isn’t just about tournaments. The Wolfpack hits the road for tough contests, facing Ohio State on February 13 and Michigan on February 15.
Michigan, another Final Four team, will be a serious test. The month wraps up with a California swing: California on February 27, then Stanford on February 28.
March Madness
March gets busy, mixing home and away battles. The team returns to Raleigh on March 6 and 8 for ACC duals against Florida State and Miami.
Then, a midweek trip to Wake Forest on March 11 breaks things up.
West Coast Swing
Later in March, the Pack heads west again. They’ll face SMU on March 15 and Pepperdine on March 19.
These matches could help the team build some momentum as the season moves forward.
Closing the Month at Home
March closes with home matches against Boston College on March 27 and Syracuse on March 29. These games will weigh heavily on ACC standings and national rankings.
April Showdowns
April ramps up the stakes. The team opens with home games against Louisville on April 3 and 5.
A doubleheader versus Notre Dame and East Carolina on April 5 wraps up the regular-season home slate.

Neutral-Site Clash Against Duke
April 8 brings a second neutral-site nonconference match, this time against Duke at Cary Tennis Park. That rivalry always brings out the best in both teams, doesn’t it?
Final Road Games
The regular season ends with two away games. The Wolfpack travels to Virginia Tech on April 10 and Virginia on April 12.
These contests will help set the stage for postseason seeding.
Postseason Aspirations
The postseason starts with the ACC Championships in Cary, running from April 15-19. The tournament is a big opportunity for NC State to lock in a strong NCAA Tournament seed.
NCAA Tournament
The first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament are set for May 1-3. Teams that win will move on to Super Regional play on May 8-9.
The season wraps up at the NCAA National Championship from May 14-17 in Athens, Georgia. The Wolfpack’s hoping to make a real push this year, especially after their strong regular season.
