Fencing Team 1968-1970
Knowledge is Power

When I was a student athlete at UCLA there were no college sponsorships for women’s fencing. No equipment, no money for tournament fees and no funds for coaching. I worked in food service in the dorms in order to pay for my lessons at Faulkner Studios, Salle de Nord and Salle Mori, where I still treasure my one “touch” off Olympic Champion Heizaburo Okawa.
Women’s athletics has never been a priority at any University or college, as it was not “alumni” popular…until now.
It’s time that female athletes receive the same endorsement valuation as all the male sports, but you need knowledge about other endorsements to maximize your Name In Likeness ( NIL) Worth.
HerCollegeNetWorth stands as the ultimate fan page for all women in college athletics.
Thank you for being a part of our community. Together, let’s build a brighter financial future for women athletics!
